Enjoy this secluded and romantic spot in the oaks. Whether honeymooning, babymooning, celebrating an anniversary, or just needing a break from the busyness of life, the LoftDome luxury dome will provide the perfect place to reconnect, renew and rejuvenate. The central spiral staircase leads to a heavenly king-size bed! This air conditioned experience with an outdoor shower and hot tub takes glamping to a whole new level. Good to know

The LoftDome is located off of our private driveway, Morse Lane. The Loft is nestled in a grove of oak trees and overlooks a large pond. The Dome is almost ground level (2 steps to the deck), but the king-size bed is located up a 10-step spiral staircase. The LoftDome has a spacious, private deck for lounging by the firepit or grilling (both propane-fueled which is provided) and features a large hot tub and a double shower for your pleasure.

Other Details to Note

This experience is "glamping" --- glamorous camping! The dome's walls are thin like a tent. So, as in other outdoor camping, sights and sounds of nature (insects, birds, animals, snakes, etc.) might be experienced. So, if you are a light sleeper, please bring your own earplugs or white noise machine. Our OakHill mascot, a black Aussie-Doodle, roams the property when we are not home. He has a big bark, but is really friendly. So, if you are afraid of dogs, we might not be the right place for your stay. Photographers: Inquiries are welcome for styled shoots, but the LoftDome is not available for high-traffic studio use or multiple client sessions. Adults only. The LoftDome is designed as a romantic retreat for two. No children, pets (including service animals), or extra guests. Smoking and vaping are allowed outdoors only. Evidence of indoor smoking will result in a $200 cleaning fee. For safety, the parking area is monitored by security cameras. HOT TUB WAIVER OF LIABILITY: Guests are welcome to enjoy the hot tub during their stay. By choosing to reserve the LoftDome, guests acknowledge and accept that they use the hot tub at their own risk. The host is not liable for any injuries, accidents, or health-related issues that may arise from its use. Please follow all posted safety guidelines.

House Rules

NOISE/MUSIC: Since the LoftDome is located near our other properties, please keep your outside noise level to a minimum. And observe our quiet hours from 10 PM - 9 AM. SMOKING: Absolutely NO SMOKING or VAPING in the dome. Please SMOKE in your own vehicle. No burning of CANDLES in the LoftDome. (The smoke particles from candles attract to the vinyl cover of the dome.) Feel free to use the provided essential oil diffuser.

Neighborhood

The LoftDome is located on private property with a private road (Morse Lane). Two other rental properties are within 100 yards of the LoftDome, but there is very little visibility of them due to tree cover. The owner/host lives on the property in the 2-story house if anything is ever needed and host does not respond quickly via the app. Our OakHill mascot is a black, standard Aussie-Doodle dog who roams the property when we are not home. He has a big bark but truly is very friendly.

Guest Access

The LoftDome offers complete privacy with no immediate neighbors in view. The closest structure is approximately 250 feet away and separated by dense woods. Guests also have access to a scenic walking path through Oak Hill. Contactless check-in via keypad is provided for your convenience. Please note: access to the LoftDome requires climbing stairs and a spiral staircase, and is not wheelchair accessible.

Our first experience glamping, and it was wonderful! Loved the hot tub, the outdoor shower, and being able to use the grill. The hosts were very communicative and provided very detailed instructions on how to use everything!

We loved staying here! The hot tub and outdoor shower was so nice. It was perfect for a little couples trip not too far from Dallas! Sebby was also such a great little tour guide. He showed us where the walking trail nearby was and was so sweet. Also Lovejoys on Main was SO GOOD! If you stay you have to eat there. About 15 minutes away from the dome. Such a sweet restaurant with the friendliest staff :)

This place was beyond what i thought i was going to be. I cant say enough wonderful things about Oak Hill! We stayed at the Loft Done and it was incredible!!!! It was so fun and so relaxing. 100% best service and extremely attentive! we cant say enough good things. Wonderful people!!

Find us

As you enter our private road, Morse Lane, you will see a pipe & cable fence on you left-hand side as you follow the road. Just before the fence ends, you will see a gravel road to the right. This road will take you to the LoftDome.
